A family shop that still answers its own phone.
Ray Fennick started with one van and a rule: tell people the price before you pick up a wrench. His daughter Jess runs the shop now, with a small crew of licensed plumbers who live in the towns they work in.

What hasn't changed
The price is written down before the work. A person answers the phone. The plumber who shows up has a name you were sent before he arrived, wears boot covers at the door, and takes the old parts with him.
What has changed is the help behind the phone: the front desk now answers every call and text at any hour, so a leak at midnight gets shut-off help in a minute and a booked arrival window by morning.
